CHABAR- The Book Café

The place i love to visit whenever i am in Delhi. What takes me to this awesome and creative place is my love for books and subtle uniqueness of this place. The first time I visited this place i was struck with awe. My gem took me to This awesome Oxford book store which itself is a gem hidden between the white tall buildings of CP. The first sight of this place will  brighten the eyes of any reader.  Thousands of books available  for reading, buying and you  can even take the books on rent. The snacks area as the "cha" in the name suggests is famous for chai. But Frankly speaking I have never had tea there on any of my visits. I always prefer their mojitos or shakes and I am pretty satisfied with them till date. But if you are a chai lover, you got tons of options on the menu. I have seen people order varieties of tea there and admire them to the utmost. They have organic teas, Ayurvedic teas, fusion teas, even diet teas, so you have got your options which you might ha

Uncle Jack's

A one stop shop for all the snack lovers. They have a very unique way of presenting their food in beakers, jars and pots. Good enough for vegeterians and for non-vegeterians as well. It is a famous name in Tricity. Ambience: A small shop in sector 8 c, Chandigarh. You won't get the fancy seating like other big names in Chandigarh offer, but presentation and taste of food will overcome that feeling. Food: A lot of choices on menu. All new to you if never been there before. You will put in a lot of thought to what should be ordered. Whatever you have on your first visit, you will be bound to revisit the place to try other items on menu.  Classic Lime CHICAGO FRIES(NON-VEG) Address: Booth 11, Inner Market,  Sector 8 B, Sector 8, Chandigarh

SOCIAL-Sector 7

After hearing a lot of the most hyped hangout place in Chandigarh, "SOCIAL- The brewery & the lounge" I got the chance to visit it. Alltogether it was a good experience. Because of I, Being a very good critic you can trust each and every word I pour out here and then decide whether it will be a part of your "Go to" list or not. Ambience: I am such an Ambience lover and this place definitely took me down on that one. From the outside it is made like some old haveli kind of look, that certainly pokes you to wanna find out what is inside there. When I entered, I found it really huge to be a brewery that exists in Chandigarh. I liked it on the very first sight. Left, right, upper left, everywhere I turned there were different kind of seating area. So it's like a kind of family place too. There are different chambers for privacy if you need, with dark and just the required amount of light coming from the kind of street light bulb next to your table. You can g

Delhi-An Expensive City

Note:An article that I wrote for my brother's school homework. Just sharing it in case anybody else need it. Delhi -the heart of India as we call it, stays in the heart of many of us too. From the ancient times, it has been the famous city as the foreigners who invaded India wanted to live there. Today it ranks second on the list of expensive cities in India. From food to land, all Delhiites have to fight the outbursting costs everyday.  Doesn't matter you go to buy grocery in Delhi or to buy your own place you will find yourself at the same height of thinking.  Every day is a war even for the lower middle class family, forget the ones who fall below the poverty line. Still after all these struggles Delhi continues to be the heart of India and Indians.

Padmaavat- An experience

o my god!! m so glad i watched this movie n more glad coz i watched the 3d version of it. i definitely won't call it an epic movie, but without any doubt it was a series of epic scenes for me. the first thing i wanted to see was the talking parrot who gave plot to the whole story but to my greatest disappointment there was no parrot at all. i mean come on dude, we get it that rajputs were against this movie and thus bhansali had to delete some of the movie scenes but, why the parrot. 😔 the scene where Deepika unknowingly hits Shahid with an arrow, i was like osshhh. but no he didn't die 😝, m still nt sure that it was the real part of the story or Bhansali's imagination but man "teer dil k paar ho gaya" he presented the complete situation with a mixture of romance and love at first sight. Shahid, Raja Ratan Singh, great work!! looks upto the mark, so was the acting. Despite his lean body, he very well complimented his role. Deepika on the other hand, beautif
