Summers are a treat and summer parties are fu o be in when there is booze. But I would always go for good booze made at home over a bottled one. So let's catch up with the Pina Colada. of course not the Pina Colada Song, but the Pina Colada recipe.
What Is Pina Colada?
The piña colada is a mixed or frosted mixed drink first made in Puerto Rico. It's generally made with white rum, cream of coconut, and pineapple juice. In this simple nonalcoholic formula, simply mix the rum and use coconut milk rather than the cream.
Since the formula utilizes solidified pineapple pieces, you truly don't have to include as much ice. Start with 1/4 cup and include more on the off chance that you need a frostier beverage. Mix it up until the consistency is smooth and rich.
The conventional piña colada is decorated with either a pineapple wedge, a maraschino cherry, or both. Don't hesitate to embellish with what you like, including a little paper umbrella!
