As per the update released by the Feed Burner team, FollowByEmail widget will be removed from the latest update. From last approximate 14 years, Feed Burner was the one option on the Google BlogSpot for the email subscription service.
In my 10+ years of experience working on BlogSpot, I have faced many challenges of course. Even while creating the structure there were not enough help guides available with the google. The reason is the availability of more features with the WordPress. Undoubtedly, Google BlogSpot is easier to use for the conventional writers. Although when it comes to website features, WordPress wins.
After July 2021, there will be one less feature in BlogSpot. So will this change affect that many users? Will they consider switching to WordPress? I don't have the correct answer to that.
What I can say is before the Upcoming changes to FeedBurner gets rolled out, quickly export all your subscribers to a CSV.
How to export your email subscribers to a CSV?
1. Activate the FeedBurner Email subscription services.
2. Click on Analyze option.
3. Select Subscribers.
4. Select the FeedBurner Email Subscriptions option.
5. Click on Manage Your Email Subscriber List.
6. Click on CSV under View Subscriber Details.
You will find the CSV right next to the Export option.
Way too easy, wasn't that? Seems leaving is much easier than working it out. Anyways let's hope Google has something better in mind for its users. Soon we will be migrating to a new subscription service. We do not know the details yet.

2. Ability to change the URL
3. Ability to change the source feed
4. Ability to change the title and podcast metadata
5. Basic Analytics of feed request
6. Ability to create enclosure tags for MP3 files
